Hi. We are Cajuns from Louisiana.

We have lived here for many years and love our Cajun Community.

We love seafood and we like to cook it up even more.

Our favorite past time is fishing. We eat a lot of fish and have special seasonings that are used for preparing the fish filets and other Louisiana delicacies. There are so many different kinds of seafood seasonings and shrimp, crab, and crawdad Boil.Our lakes are full of many kinds of fish, like Crappie (Cajun name is "sac-a-lait"), Bass, Catfish, Gar, Gue, Bream, Shad, Cypress Trout (sup-ic), and a whole lot more. Our favorite place to fish is on Lake LaFourche This lake is a sleeper, as Crappie lakes go. Lake LaFourche is one of the best. A lot of Cajuns make their living by fishing and shrimping. It is a very big industry and folks order our fish and shrimp from all over the United States.

Our Louisiana food is something to brag about. Cajun seasoning makes everything taste so much better. Our Turtle Farms breed some of the finest turtles in the United States. That makes some delicious turtle meat for our favorite recipes. Everyone can be satisfied after eating our food, and there is something to satisfy everyones taste.

Louisiana is a great place for traveling. Our State Parks are beautiful and noteworthy. If you plan to stay a while, be sure look up our hotels, motels, and bed & breakfasts. Visit our Antebellum Homes that survived the Civil War and Hurricane Katrina. We have so many activities that our great State provides, that it would be difficult to list them all. Our Flea Markets and Antique shops are abundant, and you can find anything and everything in our great Louisiana Cajun Community if you are shopping for gifts!
